Recently, students from Wilson Talent Center participated in a hands-on “Modalities Day” hosted by Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Physical Therapy, where students explored the science, technology and patient-centered care behind physical therapy and rehabilitation services.
Throughout the visit, students learned not only how different treatments work — but why they are used in patient recovery and rehabilitation.
According to Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Physical Therapy, the experience included demonstrations, treatment discussions and interactive learning opportunities led by physical therapy professionals, including hands-on exposure to rehabilitation modalities and patient care techniques.
Physical therapy plays a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries and mobility-related conditions. The field focuses on restoring movement, reducing pain and improving physical function through therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation techniques and patient education.
