A partnership between Ingham Intermediate School District and Michigan State University, Spartan Project SEARCH is a nationally recognized transition-to-work program that prepares young adults with disabilities for competitive, integrated employment. Interns spend a full academic year on campus gaining hands-on experience, building soft skills, and discovering their potential in real workplace settings.

During Welcome Night, families met with program staff, connected with fellow interns, and learned more about the rotations and resources ahead. Colorful folders, thoughtful refreshments, and a warm sense of community helped set the tone for what’s to come: a year of transformation, confidence, and growth.

To the new 2025–26 Spartan Project SEARCH cohort: You’re officially part of something powerful.
