On May 6, twenty-three seniors from the Wilson Talent Center’s Educational Careers program made it official: they’re committing to careers in education. With balloons, certificates, and a shared sense of purpose, these students signed pledges to pursue teaching and related professions during National Signing Day for Future Educators.

Held in partnership with Educators Rising, FCCLA, and the Michigan Department of Education, the event celebrated students who are answering the call to teach—whether it’s early childhood education, special ed, or high school science.

Programs like Educational Careers offer hands-on classroom experiences and mentorship that help students build skills, confidence, and connection before they even graduate.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025! We can’t wait to see you in the front of the classroom.
