Students from the Wilson Talent Center recently had the opportunity to take their learning outside the classroom during a visit to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA).
During the experience, students saw firsthand how technical communications systems function in professional and high-stakes environments. The visit challenged them to think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and apply what they’ve learned in their programs to real-world situations.
By engaging in meaningful conversations with professionals in the field, students expanded their understanding of how technical systems support critical infrastructure and operations.
Learning opportunities like this bring coursework to life—offering students a clearer vision of their future and how their skills can make a difference.
