Planning for life after high school can come with plenty of questions, and Wilson Talent Center (WTC) students had an opportunity to explore some of the answers during the school's 2026 Fall Rep Day.

The event brought together representatives from colleges, the military and businesses to connect directly with students, share information and introduce a variety of educational and career pathways.

Throughout the event, students visited representatives, asked questions and learned more about the opportunities available to them after graduation. Whether considering higher education, military service, apprenticeships or entering the workforce, students were encouraged to explore their interests and discover possibilities for their futures.

Community partnerships played an important role in making the experience meaningful. The Capital Area Manufacturing Council helped connect students with representatives from the manufacturing industry, introducing opportunities for career exploration and professional development.

Participating businesses included Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Rheinmetall and Wieland, among others. These connections offered students a chance to learn about industries and employers in their region while gaining a better understanding of potential career paths.

Fall Rep Day also reinforced the importance of helping students connect what they are learning today with the opportunities available tomorrow. By bringing educational institutions, employers and community organizations together in one place, the event made it easier for students to explore multiple possibilities and begin identifying their next steps.

Special recognition goes to WTC College & Career Preparation Coordinator Lindy Daman for organizing the well-attended event, along with the many participating representatives who generously shared their time and expertise.

Through experiences like Fall Rep Day, Wilson Talent Center continues to connect students with the people, resources and opportunities that can help them build their futures.
