Students from Wilson Talent Center’s Health Foundations and Sports Medicine programs recently came together for an engaging, hands-on lesson in joint range of motion.
In this collaborative experience, students practiced assessment techniques to evaluate flexibility, mobility, and joint health. Rotating between stations, they took on both practitioner and patient roles—learning to observe, measure, and support healthy movement across the body’s major joints.
By combining clinical tools with peer-to-peer interaction, the lesson helped students build confidence, deepen their understanding of muscular and skeletal systems, and better prepare for careers in healthcare and rehabilitation.
This type of interdisciplinary activity highlights the power of teamwork and real-world application in career and technical education programs.
