At Wilson Talent Center, career preparation is more than practice—it’s partnership.

Recently, the Cosmetology program welcomed Danielle and Baylore from His & Hers Beauty Bar in Williamston for a full day of hands-on learning. The visiting professionals worked alongside students, teaching advanced techniques in hair extensions, including color matching, placement, and seamless blending.

Students observed demonstrations, asked questions, and practiced techniques that reflect current industry standards. Learning directly from working professionals gives students insight into both the artistry and the business of cosmetology.

Experiences like this deepen technical skill while also building confidence. Students see firsthand what excellence looks like—and what it takes to succeed in a competitive, client-focused industry.

Wilson Talent Center continues to strengthen connections with local businesses to ensure programs stay aligned with evolving industry trends. When community professionals pour their knowledge into students, everyone benefits.

The result? Future cosmetologists who are not only licensed—but prepared.
