Inside Leslie Middle School, a simple lunchtime gathering is making a big difference. Through their peer-to-peer initiative, students from across the school join together in ASD classrooms to eat lunch, play games, and build connections rooted in kindness and understanding.
These activities offer more than just fun—they create space for empathy, social development, and mutual respect. Students form genuine friendships while practicing inclusive communication and collaboration.
Programs like this remind us that personal growth happens not only through academics, but through authentic relationships—and Leslie Public Schools is leading the way in making those moments count.
