At Heartwood School, the final week before winter break was filled with warmth, wonder, and community spirit. Students and staff came together to celebrate the season with festive activities that highlighted the heart of the school’s culture—joyful connection and inclusive celebration.

The annual Holiday Idol celebration returned, showcasing student talents in a lively, music-filled event that left smiles on every face. Classrooms buzzed with excitement as students made crafts, shared laughter, and spread cheer through hands-on holiday fun.

But the biggest surprise? A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who took time to meet every student, spreading personalized holiday magic and reminding everyone that they’re on the “nice list.” Families and staff captured precious moments, including a heartwarming scene of Santa reading with students in cozy, festive surroundings.

Through it all, Heartwood showed how inclusive holiday celebrations build not only memories—but community.
