On a bright spring day filled with sunshine and smiles, the Heartwood School community gathered for their much-loved Annual Family Picnic. This event is a highlight of the school year—offering space for families and staff to connect outside the classroom and celebrate community.

With playground games, outdoor strolls, shared meals, and heartfelt conversations, the day was designed for everyone to feel included and seen. From toddlers in wheelchairs to teens leading scavenger hunts, the event reflected Heartwood’s core value: all means all.

These types of traditions create strong bonds and lasting memories—and Heartwood is proud to keep growing this picnic into a beloved part of their story.
