Halloween brought plenty of excitement to Ingham Intermediate School District, as students and staff at Heartwood School and Wilson Talent Center celebrated with activities that encouraged creativity, connection and fun.
At Heartwood School, students and staff enjoyed a day filled with Halloween festivities, including trick-or-treating, dancing and opportunities to celebrate alongside classmates and staff members. Colorful costumes, festive decorations and shared experiences helped make the day memorable for the school community.
Meanwhile, at Wilson Talent Center (WTC), students put their creativity to work through a Halloween door decorating contest sponsored by the National Technical Honor Society.
The competition invited students to bring a little Halloween spirit into the hallways, with the PM Medical Assisting class earning the most votes for its decorated door.
The celebration also showcased collaboration between WTC programs. Students in the Welding Technology program created a custom trophy for the winning class, adding a hands-on, student-made element to the competition.
While the celebrations looked different at each school, both offered opportunities for students and staff to connect, express their creativity and enjoy time together outside their everyday routines.
From costumes and dancing to decorated doors and student-crafted awards, Halloween across Ingham ISD was a celebration of the people and experiences that make each school community special.
