When it comes to supporting literacy across a region, strategy matters—and so do relationships.

Last week, Ingham Intermediate School District's literacy coaches, Heidi Gascon and Katherine Andersen, facilitated a dynamic session for district-level Literacy Coaches across the county.

The gathering focused on a Strategy Harvest approach, encouraging participants to explore instructional resources, engage in meaningful conversations, and reflect on their coaching practices. Coaches rotated through interactive stations, collaborated on shared goals, and celebrated the power of connection in improving instruction.

By continuing to nurture strong professional networks, this team is planting the seeds for lasting impact in classrooms across Mid-Michigan.
