Senior students in the Cosmetology and Manicurist programs at Wilson Talent Center were recognized for reaching an impressive milestone: the successful completion of their state-required training hours. Cosmetology students logged 1,500 hours over two years, while Manicurist students completed 600 hours in just one year.

During the ceremony, students were awarded certificates of completion as well as honors for outstanding contributions to their programs. Instructor’s Awards were presented to students who demonstrated exceptional leadership, work ethic, and dedication. In addition, Peer Leadership Awards were given to students selected by their classmates for being supportive, reliable, and inspiring team members.

The celebration also included recognition for those who represented WTC at the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference, where students showcase their career and technical education skills at a statewide level.

From hands-on training to real-world competition, these students have proven they’re ready to shine—both in the salon and beyond.
