This month’s Boss Mode Boot Camp at Wilson Talent Center focused on one powerful principle: My Response is My Responsibility.

Students had the opportunity to learn from Jack Brown, former Associate Principal with over 40 years in education. Known for his authentic, student-first leadership, Jack reminded learners of a simple but transformative truth: while we can’t always control what happens to us, we always control how we respond.

Through heartfelt personal stories, interactive moments, and real-world wisdom, Jack encouraged students to own their responses—emphasizing that our choices shape our environment, our character, and our future. The message resonated deeply, sparking reflection and motivation across the room.

We’re grateful to Jack Brown for his continued impact on education and the reminder that leadership starts with self-awareness and action.
