Congratulations to Katelyn and Kayla on officially graduating from the Beekman Center! These incredible students crossed the stage in front of their proud families, classmates, and staff, receiving much-deserved recognition for all they've achieved.

The ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of their strength, spirit, and the joy they brought to school each day. From decorated tables of memories to warm hugs and standing ovations, the love and support in the room were unmistakable.

These Bobcats may be graduating, but they'll always be part of the Beekman family. Here’s to all that lies ahead, Katelyn and Kayla!

Representatives from Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, and Shiawassee Counties recently gathered through the CARES Collaborative to meet with legislative officials and discuss education priorities, school funding, and the future of public education across the region. Learning Government by Seeing It in Action Spartan Project SEARCH students visited the Michigan Capitol to explore careers, civic leadership, and the teamwork behind state government.

Government can feel distant when you only read about it in textbooks. But for students in Spartan Project SEARCH, a recent visit to the Michigan Capitol turned civic learning into a real-world experience. From meeting with State Senator Sarah Anthony to observing activity inside the Senate chamber, students gained a firsthand look at the many people and moving parts that help serve communities across Michigan.
