Students at Ingham Academy have created a moving new self-portrait exhibit now on display at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts during the run of Hamilton. The pieces were crafted under the guidance of teaching artist Liz Wylegala and teacher Betz Lund, and each work offers a bold, introspective take on self-expression and personal growth.
Inspired by the themes of Hamilton, these portraits reflect journeys of resilience, transformation, and individuality—told in ways that words alone couldn’t capture.
